Golpe al contrabando en Bogotá, la Policía bajo el liderazgo del señor Director General, General William Rincón Zambrano, a través de la Dirección de Gestión de Policía Fiscal y Aduanera. POLFA desarrolló operativos contra almacenamiento y comercialización de mercancías de contrabando.
En la localidad de Bosa, uniformados adscritos a la División de Control Operativo Bogotá lograron la aprehensión de 22.980 unidades de confecciones de origen extranjer y de las cuales eran almacenadas en un establecimiento comercial.
Este sitio estaba abierto al público sin contar con la documentación que acreditara su legal ingreso al territorio nacional.
La segunda intervención se realizó sobre los principales ejes viales de la localidad de Engativá, los uniformados inspeccionaron un vehículo tipo tractocamión y se halló 1.555 rollos de tela de procedencia extranjera.
También esta mercancía que no cumplía con los requisitos aduaneros exigidos para su legal introducción al país.
Según las autoridades la mercancía esta avaluada en $1.314.208.963 y fue dejada a disposición de la Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales DIAN.
