Ejército, Policía y el CTI de la Fiscalía confirmaron la captura de Alias ‘Ramón’, presunto integrante del grupo armado organizado residual y considerado uno de los alfiles clave de alias Iván Mordisco.
La detención tuvo lugar en el municipio de Santander de Quilichao, del Cauca, tras varios meses de intensas labores de seguimiento e inteligencia militar.
Alias Ramón, quien según los reportes oficiales pertenecía a la estructura Carolina Ramírez de la facción disidente dirigida por Iván Mordisco, figuraba entre los sujetos más buscados del departamento de Caquetá por el delito de tráfico, fabricación o porte de estupefacientes.
Sobre alias ‘Ramón’ hay una orden de captura emitida por las autoridades judiciales competentes.

Según el Ejército «el detenido se habría desplazado desde la región amazónica hacia el suroccidente del país con el objetivo de pasar inadvertido y evadir el cerco policial y militar que se mantenía en su contra.
«Durante meses, este sujeto habría intentado mantenerse fuera del radar de las autoridades, utilizando el departamento del Cauca como refugio y mientras continuaba desarrollando actividades delictivas en el departamento del Caquetá»
La operación fue liderada de forma directa por tropas del Gaula Cauca y del Grupo Liviano de Caballería n.º 8.
Los organismos de inteligencia determinaron que Alias Ramón mantenía vivas sus conexiones ilícitas y seguía coordinando acciones estratégicas para las disidencias de las FARC.
El centro de operaciones abarcaba el Valle del Cauca, Cauca y Caquetá, desde allí coordinaba el despacho de cargamentos con destino a Centroamérica y EEUU.
El capturado fue dejado de inmediato a disposición de los jueces y la Fiscalía General para legalizar su captura e iniciar las actuaciones correspondientes dentro del proceso penal en su contra.
