El mundo del entretenimiento colombiano está de luto tras confirmarse la muerte del actor Santiago Munévar, quien falleció el 27 de marzo de 2026 a los 66 años. La noticia fue dada a conocer por la Asociación Colombiana de Actores (ACA), generando múltiples reacciones en el medio artístico.
Hasta el momento, no se han revelado detalles oficiales sobre las causas de su fallecimiento. Sin embargo, desde la ACA se aclaró que el actor se encontraba en condiciones normales recientemente, desmintiendo versiones que habían circulado en redes sociales sobre su muerte meses atrás.
Munévar nació el 16 de abril de 1959 en Bogotá y desarrolló una amplia trayectoria en radio, televisión, teatro, cine y doblaje. Fue considerado uno de los pioneros del doblaje en Colombia y también se desempeñó como director en este campo.
Su voz se convirtió en una de las más reconocidas del país, participando como narrador en canales internacionales como National Geographic y Discovery Channel, además de múltiples campañas publicitarias.
A lo largo de su carrera hizo parte de producciones televisivas desde la década de 1970 y prestó su voz a personajes en distintas series animadas, consolidando un legado importante dentro de la industria audiovisual colombiana.
