La víctima fue identificada como Cristian Garzón, de 27 años, quien trabajaba para la empresa de seguridad Top Guard Ltda. y se encontraba cumpliendo sus funciones en el sistema.

Según los primeros reportes, el hecho ocurrió aproximadamente a las 9:30 de la mañana del viernes 18 de septiembre de 2026.
Un hombre y una mujer habrían intentado ingresar a la estación sin pagar el pasaje. Una guarda de seguridad intervino para impedir la evasión.
De acuerdo con las versiones conocidas, el hombre habría reaccionado de manera violenta y sacado un arma blanca. Cristian Garzón intervino para proteger a su compañera y terminó recibiendo dos heridas en el pecho.
Sus compañeros lo trasladaron rápidamente a un centro asistencial. Sin embargo, las lesiones fueron de gravedad y el joven falleció.
Dos personas fueron capturadas
Las autoridades reportaron la captura de un hombre y una mujer presuntamente relacionados con el caso. Ambos quedaron a disposición de la Fiscalía para el proceso judicial correspondiente.
El caso generó rechazo entre trabajadores de seguridad y autoridades, debido a la violencia registrada durante los controles contra la evasión del pasaje.
La situación también volvió a poner sobre la mesa las agresiones que enfrentan los trabajadores de seguridad dentro del sistema de transporte.
