Jornada laboral y turnos
De acuerdo con la regulación vigente, la jornada laboral ordinaria en Colombia es de 8 horas diarias y 42 horas semanales en 2026, como parte de la implementación gradual de la reforma laboral.
Sin embargo, para el sector de vigilancia y seguridad privada se mantienen condiciones especiales debido a la naturaleza continua del servicio.
El Ministerio aclaró que:
Los vigilantes pueden laborar turnos de hasta 12 horas diarias, siempre y cuando exista un acuerdo voluntario y por escrito entre el trabajador y la empresa.
Este esquema debe respetar los límites de descanso y no puede vulnerar los derechos laborales.
La jornada semanal, incluyendo horas ordinarias y extras, no debe superar los límites establecidos por la ley.
