Los 5 niños desaparecidos en la Selva del Caquetá estpan en poder del Ejército y serán trasladados a Florencia. Los menores habían huído de las disidencias de Alias Calarcá.
Según Revista Semana, «Los menores, de entre 3 y 16 años, fueron escondidos por sus padres para evitar su reclutamiento forzado por lasa disidencias que operan en esta región»
En las últimas horas se conoció que los niños huyeron de la guerrilla durante tres dias y la operación del Ejército permitió su rescate sanos y a salvo.
El gobernador de Caquetá, Luis Francisco Ruiz, como las autoridades y el mismo ministro de Defensa, Pedro Sánchez, activaron los protocolos para ubicar a estos niños.
«Los cinco hermanos habían desaparecido luego de que sus padres los escondieran en medio de la selva para evitar que fuesen reclutados por las disidencias de las Farc que delinquen en la región».

El general Edilberto Cortés, comandante de la Sexta División del Ejército, en entrevista con Blu Radio se refirió al rescate.
«En la vereda La Ilusión, eso es en el área general de Cartagena del Chairá, logramos que esa tropa, que está debidamente entrenada, muy bien motivada y muy bien equipada, hiciera una infiltración hasta el punto donde estaban los menores de edad»
Agregó, «A las 3 de la mañana logramos enlazar a los menores de edad que estaban escondidos en un matamonte en la selva»
También el alto oficial reveló que fueronlos dos menores de 16 años, varones, y quienes salieron al encuentro con nuestros soldados.
Con el apoyo de los soldados los llevaron hasta donde estaban las otras niñas y entre ellas una adolescente de 18 años y 3 menores de edad.
Fueron en total son 5 menores de edad recuperados, y un adulto de 18 años, una niña de 18 años.
De acuerdo con las investigaciones realizadas a través de la operación Magno, alias La Morocha, sería la presunta responsable del desplazamiento forzado de la familia de estos menores, tras diferentes amenazas y el secuestro de uno de los padres.
