El Instituto Distrital de las Artes (Idartes) habilitó las inscripciones de la estrategia ‘Activa el Arte, Jóvenes que Crean’ para impulsar el talento, el liderazgo y la creación cultural en la capital este miércoles 12 de agosto de 2026. En el marco de la conmemoración del Día Internacional de la Juventud y del aniversario 488 de la ciudad, la entidad abre este espacio formativo y mantendrá el registro de aspirantes disponible hasta el próximo 28 de agosto. Por consiguiente, la administración distrital ratifica su compromiso con la población joven como agente clave para la transformación social y ambiental en los barrios.
La entidad fortalece las iniciativas culturales emergentes y la gestión comunitaria a través de un paquete de recursos del Programa Distrital de Estímulos (PDE) 2026. Entre las convocatorias activas sobresalen la Beca Bogotá Diversa para Sectores Sociales, la Beca de Circulación para Jóvenes Emergentes y el Premio de Composición para Jóvenes Compositores. De este modo, la beca de sectores sociales benefició la propuesta del 8vo Festival Ojo con eso Manito, proyecto que intervendrá artísticamente el sector de Arborizadora Alta mediante la renovación de galerías urbanas.

El instituto complementa esta oferta con talleres formativos gratuitos de acceso permanente a través de la Gerencia CREA en los distintos Centros Crea de las localidades. Los jóvenes encuentran en estos recintos espacios de aprendizaje en áreas como artes plásticas, audiovisuales, creación digital, danza, literatura, música y teatro. Asimismo, el Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y los Saberes promueve convocatorias nacionales para incentivar la participación artística de la juventud en los territorios del país.
La entidad cultural abrió paralelamente las inscripciones para 21 talleres gratuitos de lectura y escritura creativa en la ciudad, cuyo plazo de postulación vence el 31 de agosto.
