Fundación MAPFRE moviliza ayuda por 100.000 euros para afectados por el terremoto
Tras el terremoto que sacudió a Colombia el pasado 10 de agosto, Fundación Mapfre destinará 100.000 euros para contribuir a la respuesta humanitaria y fortalecer la atención de emergencias en el país.
A través de tres frentes: asistencia alimentaria, fortalecimiento de las capacidades del Cuerpo de Bomberos Voluntarios de Cali y atención médica para la población de Chocó.
Ayuda para 1.200 familias en cinco ciudades tras terremoto
Fundación destinará 35.000 euros a través de la Asociación de Bancos de Alimentos de Colombia (ABACO) para atender a 4.800 personas (1.200 familias) en Cali, Pereira, Buenaventura, Quibdó y Cartago.
La ayuda contempla alimentos listos para consumir y productos que podrán ser preparados por las familias en albergues y alojamientos temporales.
Más capacidad para responder ante las emergencias:
Otros 32.000 euros estarán dirigidos al Cuerpo de Bomberos Voluntarios de Cali para la adquisición, actualización y reposición de equipos especializados y elementos de protección personal, fortaleciendo su capacidad para atender emergencias en Santiago de Cali y su zona de influencia.
A esto se suman 33.000 euros destinados a la atención médica de la población de Chocó, epicentro del terremoto y una de las zonas más afectadas por la emergencia.
