Ejército incautó 99 kilogramos de clorhidrato de cocaína en Huila.
Ejército propinó duro golpe al narcotráfico en eñl Huila tras incaitar 99 kilos de clorhidrato de cocaína en una operación desarrollada por tropas del Batallón de Infantería N.° 26 Cacique Pigoanza.
El hecho se registró en zona rural, municipio de La Plata, cuando los soldados realizaban un puesto de control.
«Al hacer la señal de pare al conductor de un vehículo tipo furgón que se desplazaba desde el Cauca, este lo abandonó y emprendió la huida hacia la zona boscosa», informó el Ejércicto.
Al inspeccionar el automotor, los uniformados hallaron modificaciones en la estructura del vehículo, dentro del cual se escondían 99 paquetes rectangulares envueltos en plástico.
Según las primeras verificaciones, «el alcaloide pertenecería a la estructura Hernando González Acosta, de los grupos armados organizados residuales, liderados por alias Iván Mordisco».
El cargamento estaría avaluado en más de 12.000 millones de pesos en el mercado nacional y cerca de 3,2 millones de dólares en el internacional. Con esta incautación se evitó la distribución de aproximadamente 188.000 dosis, cerrando así una de las rutas empleadas para sacar estupefacientes al exterior.
De manera inmediata, las autoridades judiciales fueron alertadas y el vehículo, junto al material incautado, quedó a disposición del CTI de la Fiscalía, encargado de adelantar el proceso de judicialización.
Con este resultado, el Ejército Nacional demuestra una vez más su capacidad de respuesta y el compromiso de seguir debilitando a los grupos armados organizados residuales que, a través del narcotráfico, pretenden financiar su accionar criminal.
