El ICETEX, en alianza con el Fondo de Desarrollo de la Educación Superior (FODESEP), abrió la convocatoria para la Misión Académica de Inteligencia Artificial, Innovación Tecnológica y Física Cuántica en la República Popular China, dirigida a directivos de instituciones de educación superior colombianas. La iniciativa permitirá a los participantes conocer de primera mano uno de los ecosistemas de innovación tecnológica más dinámicos del mundo.
La misión se desarrollará durante 13 días, con una agenda académica en Beijing, Shanghái, Hangzhou, Shenzhen y Hong Kong, donde los participantes visitarán universidades, centros de investigación y empresas tecnológicas líderes en inteligencia artificial, computación cuántica, manufactura inteligente y ciudades inteligentes.
El programa está dirigido a rectoras, rectores, vicerrectores y personal directivo-administrativo de instituciones de educación superior afiliadas a FODESEP, con responsabilidad en procesos de innovación, investigación, transformación digital o cooperación internacional.
La convocatoria seleccionará hasta 15 beneficiarios, quienes recibirán financiación del 100 % del valor del programa académico, además de tiquetes aéreos Bogotá–China–Bogotá, hospedaje, alimentación, transporte interno, seguro médico y acompañamiento logístico durante toda la misión.
Durante la experiencia, los participantes asistirán a conferencias especializadas, visitas a universidades de referencia internacional y encuentros con empresas tecnológicas, con el propósito de fortalecer capacidades institucionales, promover la cooperación internacional y diseñar planes de multiplicación de conocimiento en sus instituciones.
“El ICETEX continúa fortaleciendo la internacionalización de la educación superior colombiana mediante oportunidades que conectan a nuestros líderes académicos con los ecosistemas globales de innovación. Esta misión a China permitirá conocer avances en inteligencia artificial, tecnología y transformación digital para impulsar el desarrollo de las instituciones del país”, señaló el presidente del ICETEX, Álvaro Urquijo Gómez.
