Una mujer de 53 años fue capturada y 26 botellas de licor, al parecer adulterado, fueron incautadas durante un operativo de control realizado por la Policía en las vías del Meta.
El procedimiento se registró sobre la vía que comunica a Villavicencio con Puerto López, específicamente en el sector conocido como La Balsa. Allí, uniformados de la Seccional de Tránsito y Transporte inspeccionaron un bus de servicio público que cubría esta ruta.
Durante la revisión, los policías encontraron en la bodega del vehículo varias botellas cuya procedencia y contenido habrían levantado sospechas. En total, fueron 26 unidades, mercancía que tendría un valor aproximado de $1.640.000.
Sospecha
De acuerdo con la información entregada por las autoridades, el licor sería presuntamente adulterado. La incautación buscaba evitar que estos productos llegaran a los consumidores y pudieran representar un riesgo para la salud.
El caso generó alerta debido a que las bebidas presuntamente irregulares eran transportadas en un vehículo de servicio público que se desplazaba por una de las principales rutas del departamento.
La Policía señaló que este tipo de controles permitía detectar mercancías que podrían terminar en el mercado y afectar a ciudadanos que desconocieran su posible adulteración.

La mujer fue capturada durante el procedimiento y quedó a disposición de la Fiscalía 34 Seccional de Puerto López, junto con las botellas incautadas.
La detenida deberá responder, presuntamente, por el delito de imitación o simulación de alimentos, productos o sustancias, mientras las autoridades avanzaban en la investigación para establecer el origen y las características del licor.
El comandante de la Policía del Meta, coronel Nelson Eduardo Zambrano Esguerra, destacó el procedimiento como una acción encaminada a proteger la salud pública y prevenir posibles intoxicaciones y fraudes.
Las autoridades anunciaron que los controles continuarían en los corredores viales del departamento para detectar mercancías que pudieran representar riesgos para la comunidad.
