Bogotá, agosto de 2025 | Del 2 al 6 de septiembre, la ciudad vivirá la XVI edición del Festival de Cine Infancia y Adolescencia 2025, un espacio único que celebra el poder transformador del audiovisual.
Durante cinco días, 20.000 niños, niñas y adolescentes de Bogotá y ocho departamentos disfrutarán de exhibiciones, talleres, paneles y laboratorios creativos. Todo de manera gratuita y en escenarios presenciales y virtuales.
La Cinemateca de Bogotá será la sede principal, junto con otros seis espacios icónicos como la Biblioteca Nacional, la Biblioteca Pública Virgilio Barco y las Cinematecas CEFE de El Tunal y Fontanar del Río.

El festival se desarrollará bajo dos componentes principales:
Sesión 1: Exhibición, Circulación y Formación, con más de 70 actividades dirigidas por realizadores, pedagogos y comunicadores.
Sesión 2: Bakatá Lab, el programa académico e industrial que contará con 7 actividades y la participación de 10 invitados nacionales y 4 internacionales de México y Argentina.
Estos espacios permitirán a los participantes fortalecer habilidades cognitivas, creativas y sociales para narrar sus realidades, sueños y pensamientos.
Competencia internacional con sello ambiental
El festival recibió 1.775 producciones de 79 países relacionadas con el eje temático de esta edición: cultura ciudadana y medio ambiente.
Tras un riguroso proceso de curaduría, se seleccionaron 114 producciones de 13 países, entre ellos Colombia, España, México, Brasil, Chile, Argentina, Alemania e Irán.
Las obras competirán en las categorías de ficción, animación y series de televisión, tanto en modalidad profesional como aficionada.
Premio Festicine: protagonismo infantil y juvenil
Una de las competencias más esperadas es el Premio Festicine, donde los participantes deben ser exclusivamente niños, niñas o adolescentes de Colombia.
Este año, 17 producciones creadas por menores competirán por el primer y segundo lugar en las categorías Infantil y Adolescente, consolidando la misión del festival de dar voz a las nuevas generaciones.
