La Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá, en articulación con el Instituto Distrital de las Artes (Idartes) y TransMilenio, distribuyó 4.880 ejemplares gratuitos del programa ‘Libro al Viento’ para conmemorar los 488 años de la capital este sábado 8 de agosto de 2026. La entrega masiva se llevó a cabo el pasado jueves 6 de agosto en los puntos de abordaje de Las Aguas, Universidades, Universidad Nacional y Museo del Oro. Por consiguiente, la administración distrital busca promover la lectura cotidiana entre los miles de usuarios que transitan diariamente por el sistema de transporte masivo.
La iniciativa repartió publicaciones pertenecientes a la Colección Capital, incluyendo títulos como Bogotá y Medellín Contadas y la novedad editorial Bogotá Rapeada, un texto que compila las vivencias de cinco referentes de la escena urbana local. Asimismo, la directora de Idartes, María Claudia Parias Durán, destacó que esta entrega responde a los objetivos de la Política Pública de Lectura, Escritura y Oralidad (LaLEO).
