La jornada reunió a instituciones y autoridades para promover el buen uso del tiempo libre, fortalecer la autoprotección y prevenir la vulneración de los derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes durante el receso escolar.
En el marco de la campaña «Vacaciones Seguras», los grupos de Protección a la Infancia y Adolescencia, Fiscal y Aduanera, y Protección al Turismo y Patrimonio Nacional, en articulación con el Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar (ICBF), la Secretaría de Inclusión Social, la Comisaría de Familia, el Tránsito Municipal y la Secretaría de Salud, realizaron una jornada pedagógica y recreativa denominada «Carrera de Obstáculos».
La actividad reunió a niñas, niños y adolescentes en un espacio diseñado para promover el adecuado aprovechamiento del tiempo libre durante el receso escolar, mediante dinámicas lúdicas, deportivas y recreativas orientadas al fortalecimiento de entornos protectores y a la sana convivencia.

Durante la jornada, las entidades resaltaron la importancia de cuidar y apropiarse de los parques, escenarios deportivos y espacios públicos como lugares seguros para la integración familiar, la recreación y la prevención de conductas delictivas o de cualquier situación que pueda poner en riesgo los derechos de los menores de edad.
Asimismo, los participantes recibieron recomendaciones de autoprotección para reconocer posibles situaciones de riesgo y actuar de manera oportuna, fortaleciendo así su seguridad y bienestar durante la temporada de vacaciones escolares.

Como parte de la estrategia, también se socializó la Línea 141 del Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar, habilitada para atender y proteger los derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes, e invitar a la comunidad a denunciar cualquier hecho que represente una amenaza o vulneración.
Las autoridades destacaron que este tipo de actividades fortalecen el trabajo interinstitucional y permiten generar espacios seguros para la infancia y la adolescencia, fomentando hábitos saludables, el buen uso del tiempo libre y la corresponsabilidad de las familias y la ciudadanía en la protección integral de esta población.
