Habitantes del sector de Chámeza Mayor, en el municipio de Nobsa, denunciaron una problemática ambiental y de salud pública que, según aseguran, se ha prolongado durante varios meses debido a presuntos vertimientos irregulares de una microempresa de quesos al sistema de alcantarillado.
De acuerdo con la comunidad, las aguas residuales provenientes del proceso de producción contienen altos niveles de grasa, lo que estaría ocasionando constantes taponamientos en la red de alcantarillado. Como consecuencia, se presentan malos olores, proliferación de moscas y rebosamientos que han afectado viviendas del sector. Los residentes afirman que ya presentaron un derecho de petición ante Coservicios, empresa que presta el servicio de acueducto en esta zona de Nobsa, así como ante la empresa de servicios públicos del municipio y Corpoboyacá.
Sin embargo, aseguran que hasta el momento no han recibido una respuesta oficial.Según los habitantes, la situación afecta especialmente a adultos mayores y ha generado preocupación por los posibles riesgos para la salud. Frente a las denuncias, el alcalde de Nobsa, Ricardo Granados, informó que la Secretaría de Salud Pública puso el caso en conocimiento de la Secretaría de Salud de Boyacá, la cual inició gestiones ante el Invima para evaluar la situación.
El mandatario también indicó que funcionarios de la Inspección de Policía de Nazaret realizaron una visita al lugar y comprobaron la existencia de taponamientos ocasionados por acumulación de grasa en el sistema de alcantarillado. Por esta razón, anunció que se adelantará una jornada de limpieza para restablecer el funcionamiento de la red.
