Bogotá se prepara para recibir nuevamente el Festival del Arroz, un evento gastronómico que reunirá a más de 60 restaurantes en 14 plazas distritales de mercado entre el 16 y el 18 de mayo de 2026. Los asistentes podrán disfrutar de platos tradicionales y propuestas innovadoras con precios entre COP 25.000 y COP 35.000.
Una apuesta por la gastronomía popular
El festival es organizado por el Instituto para la Economía Social (IPES) junto con Fedearroz, con el objetivo de fortalecer la economía local, impulsar las plazas de mercado y promover el consumo de arroz colombiano. Durante los tres días habrá recetas como arroz con pollo, arroz con camarones y preparaciones tipo thai.
Según cifras del Distrito, en la edición anterior se vendieron cerca de 6.000 platos y se generaron ingresos aproximados de 160 millones de pesos, resultados que esperan superar este año.
