El 18 de abril de 2026 se llevó a cabo en Buenaventura una mesa de trabajo entre la Alcaldía Distrital, la Gobernación del Valle del Cauca y representantes del sector turístico, con el propósito de definir compromisos orientados a fortalecer el turismo en la región.
