13 personas capturadas por la Fiscalía tras demantelar red de pelea de perros en La Calera.
La Fiscalía a través de GELMA y la Policía permitió ubicar y desarticular una presunta convención internacional de peleas de perros en una finca de la vereda Aurora Alta, en La Calera, Cundinamarca.
En imágenes que entregó la Fiscalia se capturó 13 presuntos implicados, entre ellos 9 ciudadanos extranjeros de Ecuador, Venezuela y República Dominicana,.
Además de 4 colombianos, incluyendo al señalado organizador del evento y a un veterinario.
Según Deicy Jaramillo, Delegada para la Seguridad Territorial «las autoridades llegaron justo en el momento que se realizaba estos enfrentamientos caninos en medios de apuestas y afluencias masivas».
Entre los 13 capturados fue también capturado el organizador del evento y los animales rescatados estaban en condiciones críticas.

Red clandestina estaba conformada por 9 extranjeros y 4 colombianos.
Fiscalía imputó a los detenidos por delitos relacionados con muerte y lesiones graves que afectan la integridad de los animales.
Fiscalía desmanteló sitio de peleas clandestinas de perros:
Durante el allanamiento, las autoridades hallaron un cuadrilátero de madera donde se estarían realizando los enfrentamientos entre caninos.
También fueron recuperados 12 perros en precarias condiciones de salud, de los cuales cuatro habrían sido usados como carnadas, y se encontraron dos perros muertos.
La Fiscalía imputó a los detenidos por delitos relacionados con muerte animal y lesiones que afectan la integridad física de los animales, dentro de un caso que además estaría ligado a apuestas ilegales.
Además en la captura en el lugar fueron hallados dos animales muertos y luego de participar de este practica ilegal en el país.
La Senadora y defensora de lios animales confirmó que los capturados por organizar una convención internacional de peleas de perros en La Calera y se allanaron a los cargos.
