Duro golpe a las estructuras de Alias Iván Mordisco en Lopez de Micay, Cauca, propinaron el Ejército y la Armada Nacional tras demantelar un depósito ilegal con explosivos y armas,
Según lo informó el Coronel de Infantería de Marina Jorge Enrique González Orejuela, Comandante de la Brigada de Infantería de Marina No. 4, este depósito contenía explosivos improvisados, material de guerra y elementos logísticos empleados por organizaciones criminales en el departamento del Cauca.
La operación se llevó a cabo en zona rural del municipio de López de Micay, sector Zaragoza, donde tropas del Batallón Fluvial de Infantería de Marina No. 42, en el marco de la acción conjunta.
También el alto oficial afirmó que se hallaron seis artefactos explosivos improvisados tipo granada, al parecer de 81 milímetros, así como 11 granadas improvisadas no convencionales acondicionadas para ser lanzadas desde sistemas aéreos no tripulados.
Se incautaron cordón detonante y material explosivo utilizado en la fabricación de cargas explosivas.

Durante la operación también fueron encontradas armas cortas de diferentes calibres, munición, material de intendencia y accesorios.

El material pertenecería al Grupo Armado Organizado Residual (GAOR) Estructura 6 “Jaime Martínez”, organización criminal que delinque en esta zona del Pacífico colombiano.
Además fueron hallados equipos tecnológicos y otros elementos logísticos que, presuntamente, serían utilizados para fortalecer sus capacidades ilícitas.
