Defensa Civil de Duitama atendió la emergencia y la avioneta estaba incinerada de inmediato la Gobernación de Boyacá se solidarizó con esta tragedia que enluta a Colombia.
“La Gobernación de Boyacá, en cabeza del gobernador Carlos Amaya, y en nombre del pueblo boyacense, lamenta el trágico accidente que cobró la vida del reconocido cantante Yeison Jiménez, una de las figuras más representativas de la música popular colombiana. (…) Desde el Gobierno de Boyacá decretamos duelo departamental”.
