Autoridades capturaron a dos hombres que transportaban 28 lingotes de oro, ocultos en el tanque de gasolina de un vehículo tipo Kia Stonic híbrido modelo 2024, en la vía que conecta Pitalito (Huila) con Mocoa (Putumayo). El hallazgo, avaluado en más de 15 mil millones de pesos, se produjo durante un retén de control en carretera.
Según informó el diario El Tiempo, los capturados fueron identificados como Andrey Davian Murcia Dávila, de 41 años, y Fernando Andrade Delgadillo Rodríguez, de 51, ambos oriundos de Chiquinquirá, Boyacá.

La defensa de los hombres sostiene que el oro pertenece a un titular minero del Huila, quien contaba con título minero y certificados de pago de regalías. Aseguran que ellos solo prestaban el servicio de transporte del metal precioso, y que el ocultamiento en el tanque de gasolina no buscaba evadir controles, sino “proteger la carga”.
También denunciaron que, según su versión, originalmente eran 29 lingotes, pero uno de ellos habría desaparecido durante el procedimiento de incautación.

La Fiscalía abrió investigación por presunto lavado de activos, debido a las inconsistencias en la forma de transporte y a que los lingotes no contaban con la trazabilidad comercial correspondiente. Las autoridades intentan establecer el origen exacto del oro y la identidad del supuesto propietario minero.
El vehículo, los lingotes y los documentos presentados quedaron bajo custodia judicial mientras avanzan las diligencias.
