Ejército neutraliza laboratorio con más de 7.6 toneladas de permanganato de potasio.
En el marco del Plan de Campaña Ayacucho Plus, tropas del Batallón de Ingenieros de Combate N.° 27, de la Vigésima Séptima Brigada del Ejército Nacional, en coordinación con unidades de la Seccional de Investigación Judicial y la Dirección de Antinarcóticos de la Policía Nacional, ubicaron e inutilizaron un laboratorio utilizado para el procesamiento de permanganato de potasio, un insumo químico empleado en la producción de estupefacientes.
La operación fue posible gracias a labores de inteligencia militar y al trabajo coordinado entre el Ejército Nacional y la Policía Nacional, que permitieron establecer la ubicación de esta infraestructura ilegal en zona rural del municipio de Puerto Asís. Desde allí se adelantaban actividades relacionadas con el procesamiento de sustancias químicas destinadas a fortalecer la cadena de producción del narcotráfico.

7,6 toneladas de permanganato de potasio fueron incautadas
Durante la intervención fueron destruidas dos estructuras de madera con techo plástico que albergaban el laboratorio clandestino.
En su interior fueron hallados 7626 kilogramos de permanganato de potasio, 200 galones de dióxido de manganeso y 165 galones de hipoclorito.
Además de 80 recipientes metálicos de diferentes dimensiones, una caldera de gran capacidad, 3 recipientes para mezcla, 5 palas, una motosierra y una planta eléctrica, elementos empleados para el procesamiento de este insumo químico.
Con este importante resultado operacional, el Ejército Nacional continúa afectando las capacidades logísticas y de abastecimiento de las organizaciones criminales dedicadas al narcotráfico, debilitando las economías ilícitas que financian su accionar delictivo y reduciendo su capacidad para sostener actividades ilegales en el departamento del Putumayo.
La Vigésima Séptima Brigada reafirma su compromiso de mantener el desarrollo de operaciones militares coordinadas e interinstitucionales que permitan proteger a la población, salvaguardar el territorio y combatir de manera decidida las estructuras criminales que amenazan la seguridad y la estabilidad de la región.
